These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the TradeLock LLC platform and services, including the website at GetTradeLock.com. By accessing our website or submitting a service request, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.

Our Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review it to understand our data practices.

1. Age Restriction

TradeLock services are intended exclusively for individuals who are 18 years of age or older. By using our platform and submitting a service request, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly provide services to or collect information from individuals under 18.

2. About TradeLock

TradeLock LLC is a home services platform operating in the Sanford, NC area that connects homeowners with individually interviewed trade professionals. TradeLock does not perform home services directly. We act as a referral and coordination platform to match homeowners with qualified, verified trade partners.

3. SMS Communications — Use Cases and Consent

By providing your phone number and checking the consent checkbox on our quote request form, you expressly consent to receive automated and non-automated SMS text messages from TradeLock LLC at (984) 231-8899. SMS message types sent by TradeLock include:

  • Service Request Confirmation: Confirming we received your request and a trade partner will contact you within 10 minutes.
  • Trade Partner Notifications: Alerting matched trade professionals of new leads assigned to them.
  • 10-Minute Guarantee Check: Confirming that the assigned trade partner contacted the homeowner.
  • 7-Day Estimate Follow-Up: Checking in with the homeowner to confirm an estimate was received.
  • Project Feedback Request: Requesting homeowner satisfaction ratings approximately 60 days after assignment.
  • Compliance Reminders (Trade Partners): Notifying trade partners of upcoming license or insurance document expirations.
  • Sunday Capacity Check (Trade Partners): Weekly backlog check to ensure trade partner availability.

Message frequency varies based on service activity. This consent is not a condition of receiving services.

4. SMS Opt-Out Instructions

You may opt out of receiving SMS messages from TradeLock at any time by replying STOP to any message. After opting out, you will receive one final confirmation message and no further messages will be sent. To re-subscribe, reply START. Reply HELP at any time for assistance.

5. Message and Data Rate Disclosure

Message and data rates may apply to all SMS communications sent and received. TradeLock is not responsible for any charges applied by your mobile carrier. Please contact your carrier if you have questions about your messaging plan.

6. Carrier Liability Disclaimer

Carriers, including but not limited to AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, and others, are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery of SMS messages is subject to effective transmission by your mobile carrier and is not guaranteed. TradeLock is not responsible for messages that are delayed, blocked, or not delivered due to carrier issues.

7. Homeowner Terms

  • You are the homeowner or an authorized representative of the property at the address provided.
  • The information you provide in your service request is accurate and complete.
  • You consent to be contacted by TradeLock and matched trade partners via phone, SMS, and email.
  • You understand TradeLock connects you with a trade professional and is not a party to any service agreement between you and the partner.
  • You agree to provide honest feedback when requested regarding your experience.

8. Trade Partner Terms

  • Eligibility: All trade partners must complete a TradeLock interview, provide valid license and insurance documentation, and pay the one-time $500 onboarding fee.
  • 10-Minute Contact Guarantee: Trade partners must contact the assigned homeowner within 10 minutes of receiving a lead notification.
  • 7-Day Estimate Standard: Trade partners are expected to deliver a project estimate within 7 days of homeowner contact.
  • Compliance Documents: Trade partners are responsible for maintaining current license, general liability insurance, and workers' compensation documentation.
  • Membership Fees: Active trade partners pay $149/month. Failure to maintain membership may result in suspension of lead assignments.
  • Conduct: Trade partners must act professionally and honestly in all interactions.
  • Removal: TradeLock reserves the right to remove any trade partner for failure to meet performance standards or lapse in required documentation.

10. No Warranty on Trade Services

TradeLock interviews and verifies trade partners but does not guarantee the quality, timeliness, or outcome of any work performed. Any disputes regarding quality of work are between the homeowner and the trade professional. TradeLock is not liable for damages arising from services rendered by trade partners.

11. Lead List Policy

TradeLock does not purchase, rent, or use third-party or affiliate lead lists. All homeowner contacts have voluntarily submitted a service request through our website and provided express written consent. All trade partner contacts have been individually vetted and onboarded through our direct interview process.

12. Intellectual Property

All content on the TradeLock website, including the name, logo, text, and images, is the property of TradeLock LLC and may not be reproduced or used without prior written permission.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TradeLock LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our platform. Our total liability shall not exceed amounts paid by you to TradeLock in the 12 months preceding the claim.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Lee County, North Carolina.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be posted on our website with a revised effective date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
